Gastric Tuberculosis Mimicking Cancer Manifestations in Peru

Tuberculosis is a high-incidence public health problem in Peru. In our context, seen commonly as pulmonary infection. Extrapulmonary tuberculosis gastric rare, both primary or secondary infection, with just few case reports published about these kinds of presentations. This report presents 44-year-old female patient weight loss, dyspepsia, and abdominal pain. Upper endoscopy reveals antral polypoid masses ulcer. Abdominal CT shows lymph nodes stomach wall thickening. Biopsies results were negative for malignancy positive granulomas. Sputum acid-fast bacilli smear on microscopic examination was positive. Coexistent pulmonary, tuberculosis, human immunodeficiency virus infection mimicking cancer confirmed. We will present this detail below.
